Last Monday, we hosted a Gatorade Pong Tournament for Alcohol Awareness. 132 student-athletes participated in the event designed to educate our student-athletes on the the potential affects of alcohol abuse in addition to the impact alcohol abuse can have on the student-athletes, their families, and the community. To potrary the effects of acohol abuse we created a 64 team tournament centered around Gatorade pong. Most importantly, we invited Tammy Fugate from MADD to tell her personal story of the affects of alcohol abuse in her life. Her story along with the festivities of Gatorade Pong created a great event for our student-athletes to be educated on alcohol abuse and have a blast at the same time.
Below are the Gatorade Pong Winners and a short clip of the event:
1st Place - Aaron Senne and Tyler Clark (Baseball)
2nd Place - Jace Long and Adam Rosenthal (Men's Golf)
3rd Place - Andreas Plackis and T.J Shieber (Basbeall)
